  1. After downloading adwcleaner, I moved it to the desktop, right clicked and hit "run as administrator". I hit " I accept" and then "scan". About 45 seconds into the scan the program just closes itself. It was right after it finished "scanning registry". Just poof its gone. So I right click the program again, run as administrator, accept and run scan. Same issue, less than a minute into the scan program closes itself without completion.
  2. So sorry, I'm unable to complete the Adwcleaner scan! The scan runs but then crashes near the end. However, I was able to run RogueKiller. I've attached the report. rk_2495.tmp.txt

  4. Great! I'm running the scan now and will follow all steps once complete. I just thought u should know that I'm finally able to turn on "web protection" which is a great sign!
  5. Thank you. This time I was able to access the RE Command Prompt. Here you go. FRST.txt
  6. Ok. Just wanted to detail my steps in order to make sure all was done correctly. I downloaded FRST on a clean computer on to a clean USB drive. I than booted the infected computer in RE with Command Prompts. Once the infected pc was booted I plugged the USB and ran FRST, pasted the text you provided, and hit fix. Here is the .txt it generated. Fixlog.txt
  7. Hi Aura! Thanks again for all your help. I was able to download and run the MBAR scan successfully. 5 threats were detected, I ran the cleanup and rebooted. Here is the attachment you requested. mbar-log-2018-01-18 (18-24-48).txt
  8. Hello, I seem to have caught the same virus/malware as member: Yellowdot. Luckily, his issue was resolved. I downloaded FRST.exe. Ran it in recovery environment and have attached the files generated after the initial Scan. I made sure to download FRST.exe to a flash drive on a clean PC, not from the infected one. and I waited until Recovery Environment was open before plugging in the flash drive to the infected PC. I think I need a fixlist.txt. I'd really appreciate some help. Addition.txt FRST.txt
