    Almost unusably slow computer

I have run the scan and it says 100% complete but the blue wheel is still spinning. Is this normal? The hard drive light isn't on.

A new user that joined on Friday answered my post and unfortunately I followed his suggestion to run CCleaner before I noticed he wasn't a staff member. His user name was mrneedhelpalots. He might still be following my topic. 6. For about a week my computer was almost unusable due to slowness. Task manager showed that disc usage was 100% and after I started doing research on this it unexpectedly and suspiciously stopped. This looks to me like I might be infected with Malware even though running a scan with Malware bytes found nothing. Tablet Freezes and goes black

Thanks for the advice. Do you have any idea how the tablet could have been infected? I would like to prevent this from happening in the future. I have only downloaded apps from the Google play store and they were legitimate.

    Tablet Freezes and goes black

0 of the 63 scanners didn't find anything.
  9. I have a Sprint Slate tablet and it is driving me crazy. Most times I use it for playing a game (Fire Emblem Warriors) and it gets minimal use otherwise. After I turn it on to the game the screen goes black, goes to the lock screen and I have to unlock it to play the game. This can happen too many times to count-sometimes around 50. Also, at times icons have disappeared . When I am playing the game often the tablet freezes and I have to turn it off and then back on to continue. This tablet has never been connected to wi fi and I have been very careful about the websites I visit, which are very few. Malwarebytes detects no infection so what is happening? Any suggestions?

    Removing Malware on Older MacBook

    Thanks, alvarnell.
  11. I have an older MacBook that I think is infected with malware. I am using Mac OS X 10.5.8. I am unable to install Malwarebytes on it and need help. The symptoms show up when I am using Safari and include web pages displaying blank screens or not displaying correctly. I am posting from a different computer because I was unable to on the Mac.I read the Mac malware and adware removal guide at the safe Mac site but what I am seeing doesn't match up with that. Thanks for any help.
