  1. Hi @Laop, Let's perform a clean uninstall & re-installation of the latest Malwarebytes for Mac version using the tool below: Note: The apple script will remove all files related to Malwarebytes and install the latest version of Malwarebytes for Mac. Download file MWB_Clean_Reinstall.zip from the link below https://malwarebytes.box.com/shared/static/rg3d6usn693nd4al8ey69txd8zw74wl4.zip Go to the Download folder Unzip the zipped file, then control-click and choose open “MWB_Clean_Reinstall" app, it will open a dialog to open the file to run, click open. Click Ok and provide the computer user’s login to allow the app to authenticate and run. Soon, it will open Malwarebytes welcome screen. This will remove your current version as well, so you need to set up scheduled scans again. Hope this helps.
  2. The issue reported by @Albuquirky is different than it is discussed here. It actually a high CPU consumption reported by @Albuquirky
  3. Hi @ETOC666, The version you were using is a free version, but if you believe you have subscribed to premium in past, please refer to below article to find license key. https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038523934-Find-my-premium-license-key
  4. Hi @ETOC666, The version you are using is already outdated. Please download the latest one for Catalina 10.15 from: https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038524394-Malwarebytes-home-products-and-macOS-compatibility
  5. Hi @1PW I have not received it here. 😞 Wondering you have enable beta updates.
  6. Hi @JRST, Detected apps are product from Systweak. We block all products from systweak as it has reached our PUP policy. For reconsideration, please refer to our PUP blog > https://www.malwarebytes.com/pup/ Also, refer to the article that is published for systweak by Malwarebytes. https://blog.malwarebytes.com/detections/pup-optional-systweak/ There's quite a lot of stuff that we detect that comes from the App Store. Just because something's on the App Store doesn't make it automatically legitimate. https://blog.malwarebytes.com/cybercrime/2018/07/we-block-shady-ad-blockers/ https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/234748-malwarebytes-for-mac-sending-apps-from-mac-store-onto-quarantine/
  7. @MAXBAR1, Thank you for the feedback. Do you remember by any chance the number of add-ons / extensions installed in Firefox? For Safari, I prefer to use KA-block or 1blocker.
  8. Hi @MacMedia I am unsure if that link if available for all. As I have heard, our installation logic are changing in future releases but user can always query version number from client machine. Adding @thomas for provide more info on this topic.
  9. Hi @MacMedia, try with below terminal cmd: cat /Library/Application\ Support/Malwarebytes/MBAM/Logs/product.info MBAM or NCEP as per product you have.
  10. @Latuasorella, May I ask to provide us the screenshot of the apps you want to delete. You ma use article on How to take a screenshot on your Mac - Apple Support
  11. Hi @com7fy8, Yes, you are are correct. We are aware of it and this is a minor bug which our team is working to fix it. For now, if you have 3.9.32 version installed on Yosemite (which is the highest program version it will support), please ignore the upgrade notifications. Note: The application will still fetch protection updates as in latest version.
  12. Hi @MAXBAR1, Thank you for reporting. It has been fixed now.
  13. Hi @Amre, It's provided in the article above. Here is the link on how to download version 1.3.1 on OSX 10.9.x > Install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac
  14. Hi @Amre, The version 1.3.1 should work with 10.9.5. However, we would caution anyone using 1.3.1 won't detect everything that the current versions of the app will.
  15. Hi @Amre, Please check our Knowledge based articles on macOS version and its compatibility with Malwarebytes for Mac. Malwarebytes home products and macOS compatibility
  16. Hi @raylist, Thank you for the update. It was possible with the help of troubleshooting logs you have provided. We have got the debug logs as well and our QA team is investigating over it. Thank you again.
  17. Hi @JJantimalware, Please correct, if I am missing something. In the doc-3379, the minimum OS requirement is 10.10. Could not find 10.11 anywhere in the doc.
  18. Hi @raylist, Thank you for the information. We are trying to replicate the issue as provided but unable to do so. Please log a ticket and send us the troubleshooting logs so that we can check further.
  19. Hi @raylist, That is certainly a high number that our app is consuming which it should not. Please log a support ticket with Malwarebytes as per alvarnell guidance, and we will further investigate the issue working together with our QA team. Thank you.
  20. hi @GoldnBozos, Did you try instructions provided in pinned topic?
  21. Hi @hamburger, I just noticed your comment in other forum topic that the issue is not resolved. Let's try below: Please download the installer file from https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb-mac Run the installer file and follow the installation prompt. Then from step 14 onward of our KB article Download and install Malwarebytes for Mac v4 follow the steps to allow extension in the system. Note: If the "Allow" button doesn't work. Apple will not permit any simulated or remote clicks on the Allow button in an effort to prevent attackers from installing malicious programs without your knowledge. You will not be able to click the button while connected to any form of screen sharing. You may also have difficulty clicking the Allow button if your Mac is connected to peripherals like docking stations, or if your Mac has certain software installed (tablet drivers, third-party mouse). Disconnect all third-party peripherals and click the button using the Mac trackpad or an Apple mouse connected directly to your Mac Let us know your findings by adding your reply to this topic.
  22. Hi @buttonwillowbaby, Greetings. Thank you @alvarnell. User can log a ticket from https://support.malwarebytes.com/community/consumer/pages/contact-us Alternatively, you can log a ticket by writing us an email to support@malwarebytes.com I reviewed your purchase to add quick reply here, and found that you have not been charged for $79.99. I would suggest to review your purchase receipt that was sent after purchase confirmation. Below is the screenshot of your purchase receipt that shows $59.99 was charged. Let us know if you still need a refund?
  23. HI @hamburger, Please refer to below post that might help to fix the issue with installations.
  24. From the initial screenshot, I can assume that the file already in recycle bin ($R...) One thing you should be aware of: if it's a Time Machine backup, you should never allow anything to scan or modify it. Time Machine backups are very fragile under that kind of treatment and can be destroyed entirely if a you or third-party app removes even a single file. Even when we do scan external drives, under no circumstances will we scan Time Machine backups. If a Time Machine backup has malicious files in it, the best thing to do is: 1) Clean the Mac in question 2) Perform another backup 3) Eventually, Time Machine will prune the old files that have been gone for a while, including the malicious ones.
