  1. I purchased Malwarebytes in July 2017, until now I have had no problems with it. Each time it asks me to check for updates I have done this every time. Currently I am experiencing problems with my PC and thought I should maybe run a scan to check there's nothing seriously wrong, infections etc. When I try to open Malwarebytes I get a popup saying 'unable to connect the service'. I have run a scan using the free version of AVG, but I know this isn't as in-depth as Malwarebytes. I use both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox as my browsers, and I have Windows 10. Please can anyone give me some advice? I am based in the UK.
