  1. And what I dont understand is why when I change the name of the file theres no malware even though the file still exists its just not being used by chrome
  2. It's being marked as malware though but I dont understand how search engines or synced data can be malware, I changed the name of my secure preferences file so it had to generate a new one then I rescan and nothing bad but then when I synced chrome it came back, I'm just wondering if its serious because I dont really want to reset my sync data and lose everything
  3. I'm just wondering if I need to change all my passwords after this or is this not as serious as malwarebytes is making it out to be? I deleted all my other search engines which seemed to mostly fix it however I still have one instance of this but I'll probably find a way to get rid of it I'm just wondering how serious this is like what has it/could it have done? Thanks
