  1. Thanks for your kindness in wanting to help. I have since taken my Mac to the Apple store and put in a new SSD and had a clean install of the operating system. The problem was just a neywork issue.
  2. I was referred to post here by Thomas Reed for help. Message copy left on your YouTube Channel: My Mac Pro running El Capitan is infected with Mughthesec and my Internet on that machine is barely working. I moved all my photos and documents to another hard drive then securely wiped my Time Machine and backed everything back up to Time Machine. I run a Sophos and Malwarebytes scan and no threats are detected but my internet is still barely working. Do you have any suggestions? I have since downloaded AVG and that scan also was clean but my problem hasn’t been resolved. I tested my network and it shows its working and it’s just the Mac that is having issues. Steve
