So this happened again out of the blue, the web protection turned itself off. When you turned it back on, it turned itself off again in less than a second. Windows 7, the only anomaly was that I briefly ran out of space on the C: drive A clean de-install followed by a manual reinstall has again fixed the problem for now. (see some posts above for the special de-install tool) Is there a permanent solution?
