  1. **UPDATE** I remoted into the computer and started that service. It was disabled. I rebooted the machine. I waited until it finished loading what ever it was loading and opened MWB. I clicked the button to turn on Web Protection and this time it stayed turned on. I ran a scan and no malware found. Looks like that service enabled did the trick. Thank you so much for your help! I'm a happy customer again.
  2. Oh!!! Don't I feel sheepish! Thanks! I will definitely keep you informed what the outcome is. Thank you again!
  3. Devin, Thank you for the rapid response. Did you indeed move my topic post as a new topic? If so, can you provide the link to it or the name of the post? I will be at the computer in question in 3 days when I return into town. I will keep you posted. (Hopefully in the new post)
  4. Hi there. I ran into the same problem and I have run what was suggested in this post. For me, when I try to start the Web Protection, it stays "Starting...". I have run the mb-clean-3.1.0.1031 file as suggested. It downloaded and installed the latest version. The problem still exists. I then did the following: Open Malwarebytes Navigate to Settings -> Application Turn on Event Log Data Navigate to Settings -> Protection Attempt to enable Web Protection Wait 30 seconds Run mb-check again and upload the new mb-check-results.zip file So, here are the files. I hope you can see what is wrong with the installation. Thank you in advanced! Addition.txt FRST.txt mb-check-results.zip
