  1. Thank you for the clarification. It was a bit different from what the usual AV's I've seen over the years show during scans, so better safe than sorry.
  2. I just downloaded Malwarebytes for Mac and I'm a little bit confused on how it is functioning, and haven't been able to find any information that relates to my situation. After initiating a scan, the Current Item indicator, which is what I assume is the current file that's being scanned on my machine is, goes through about 50 files, all of which are named Adware.xxx or PUP.xxx. After 5 seconds, I get back to a screen congratulating me on my clean machine. My questions are: Are all of those Adware and PUPs actually on my machine, and why is it only scanning what seems to be those files only? If the first part of that question is true, why is my machine deemed as clean? I'm not sure if the current item is bugged, but regardless it has my paranoid at the moment since this is a fairly new MacBook in which I have very few downloads to begin with. My only explanation is that current item is just the files that MBAM is looking for on my machine, instead. Thanks for any insight.
