  1. Hi I haven't run the scan because I believe that there is a more pressing issue on my PC now. I posted this reddit thread regarding it: https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/75u32x/trend_micro_issue/ I think that having malwarebytes premium temporarily fixed the issue so I was wondering if there was something that that malwarebytes premium does that may have fixed the issue and I was also wondering if trend micro is known for doing this or if it is rare. Thank you
  2. So I did what you asked although even with all boxes ticked and all my usual startup programs enabled, the program did not prevent shutdown. I guess this means it is a program opened manually. Where to from here? Thank you again for your assistance so far
  3. I followed the instructions and shutdown with a clean boot and it did not prevent shutdown, so it IS third party.
  4. Welp, I just went to shut down and there it was again, the nameless program preventing shutdown. Do you have any idea what this could be other than malware? Thanks.

  8. Hi, I have run the adware scan and cleaned, the logs are below. The sophos scan is running currently. I have about 750gbs of a 1 terabyte hard drive full and after running for around 2 hours, the bar showing completion is still minuscule, is this normal? (I am not using the of at all) Additionally, you didn’t mention what to do with the fix list. I’m assuming you want me to run the fix but I didn’t do it because I wasn’t sure. Another thing, whilst scanning, my trend micro antivirus detected and deleted a troj_gen files in the uninstall.exe of a torrented game. I case it’s important, the full

  12. Lately my PC has been acting suspiciously; performing simple tasks such opening an image very slowly and freezing my games minutes after opening them. Although they would eventually unfreeze, it makes playing games almost impossible. Additionally, sometimes, when I attempt to shutdown my PC, an unnamed program or a program named 'G' will prevent my PC from shutting down, although when I reenter my PC no such my program is running in the task manager. My PC specs are listed below. CPU: Intel i5 4460 GPU: Radeon R9 270 Motherboard: Gigabyte B85M-D3H PSU: Corsair 500M RAM
