That worked! Thank you! Even though I think that was the latest version that you gave the link to, once install completed it still wanted me to download the latest free version, which I chose not to do as that is what I did before and it disappeared!

I will try that but the originally one totally disappeared - there is no malawarebytes anywhere on my computer... Thanks - fingers crossed

I jusr downloaded latest free update as well = Malwarebytes also disappeared when my computer restarted = there is nothing to do with Malwarebytes anywhere anymore so nothing to install over... what gives??? It was fine before I, as instructed, downloaded the latest free upgrade!!!
