Thank you gentlemen. Though alavarnel's approach was not successful (and I tried it several times), Thomas' suggestion to look for suspicious extensions (under the "Window" header drop-down "Extensions)) I immediately found one called "Free live Radio 1.0" Ah hah! I deleted that and my problem was solved and have a good weekend! -Terry

Malwarebytes scans do not detect this malware nor was I able to stop it from showing up each time I opened a new tab in Chrome, even after deleting Chrome and re-installing it twice.
