  1. mbst-grab-results.zip I restarted and it came up ok. Not sure what happened as I believe I restarted recently. Regardless its working. Now let me ask you...since I have the 4.0.4 Premium this should be updating whenever a new update is released right? Thanks very much. When I click the MalwareBytes icon it comes up now.
  2. I just download the Support Tool. I believe I restarted my computer yesterday or the day before and still getting this error message. Let me finish up running this support Tool and then attach the logs and restart again. I feel for some reason this red mark in Malware icon is not right. Thanks.
  3. Hello, At the icon on the bottom right I see this: Protection Disabled When I click on this icon it shows: Web Protection: off, Malware Protection: on, Ransomware Protection: on, Exploit Protection: on Previously I have been able to open Malwarebytes but not anymore. Has this been disabled? I have the Malwarebytes Premium Program version 4.0.4 Is this supposed to be automatically updating? Thanks for your help
  4. Maurice, The instructions you provided seem to do the trick. Actually when I upgraded to version 4.0.4 it seem the scam went away. Then it proceed to scan the system. I followed all of the instructions you gave and I have always used Edge and Chrome. With Chrome I added the Malwarebytes Browser Guard and can now see it in the top right. My questions to you is... I have paid for the Malwarebytes Premium and it should be updating regularly but apparently it did not update to 4.0.4. Why is that? My system seem to be running good now. I ran the McAfee LiveSafe and its working now. Have not ran the CCleaner yet. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. Regards, James
  5. Hello Maurice, I am going to follow the procedure now. Will let you know when I am done. Or if I have any questions. Thanks.
  6. Here are the three files you request. I notice when I download the FRST executible Window Defender. Is it possible this is running and the reason why this virus came up? If possible can I delete Defender? Thanks.
  7. It appears I have a virus on my computer. I have been using Edge and already had some windows open and I got a pop up saying "Windows Support - Alert from Windows/This computer is blocked" lol I tried to close this window and it would not let me nor let me close the other windows etc.. However I can open google. I rebooted a couple times and the problem is still existing. I think I must have a virus? I have been using McAfee LifeSafe, Malwarebytes, and CCCleaner. My Malwarebytes is the Premium 3.8.3. My question is how could I have gotten this virus?? Thanks for any help you can provide. BTW I did look online and see a few offers but hey...I learned you can not trust anyone who is online. Thanks for any help you can provide. (Yes I ran the Threat analysis and apparently it did not catch this virus?)
  8. I registered to this site but when I copied my License Key and try to register it I get an error message saying the product I am trying to register it is already in use? Should I click Change License Key? Seems strange that it is already in use but maybe that is me?
  9. Ok. I got it. Let me go create an account and write it down. And see if they recognize my email address. I want to thank you for the help. How do I give you credit?
  10. When I tried again using the link on "Go to my Account" I see this error message on the very top in yellow saying: Oops, something went wrong. Please contact our <a href="https://support.malwarebytes.com/community/consumer/pages/ Does this mean anything?
  11. The error message I am getting states "your email and/or password is incorrect" and I used the password that I login this forum with? However I went ahead and restarted the computer and apparently Malwarebytes is not showing "protection off" anymore. Yes I think McAfee installed some updates...I thought it would automatically reboot? Anyway my Malware app opened and I am seeing under Account Details Oct 22, 2019. So I guess I am good until then. This is what I look towards to watch my subscription. I presume the website My.Malwarebytes.com website will allow me to update my subscription? Any reason why it would not work? Or di I need a different password?
  12. I got error message when trying My.Malwarebytes.com and I used the same email address? mbst-grab-results.zip Thanks for your help!
  13. Sorry. I think it is celee for this user. For some reason I saw his post when I googled it. Anyway I am wanting to know if I should go ahead with what he states to do so see if my subscription is valid? Thanks.
  14. And while we are at it...where is that post that Culee posted with downloading the software? I cannot find that post where different actions need to be done. Tried looking for it and cannot find it. It that what I have to do to see if my paid subscription is done? Thanks.
  15. I am running Windows 10 and when I click the bottom right /\ arrow and click on the malwarebytes it says Malwarebytes Premium Program version 3.7.1 Protection disabled Does this mean my Malwarebytes has expired? I trued to open this link to find out if I have to pay to get this activated. But it is not opening up. Any idea if my account has expired or anything? Yes I saw the email from Culee (is this spelling right?) and I may need to go to that route. But will this wipe out my account or will I be able to see if its expired. Thanks.
  16. I have the Malwarebytes 3 Premium and I ran a Threat Scan. Not sure if you want me to open the file and copy to the body of the email? I have attached the file below. This ThreatScan.txt shows PUP/PUM: Detected so that means it found this pop up? Is there anything else I have to do? Thanks for your help. ThreatScan.txt
  17. I keep getting this popping up when I am using Chrome: Internet Security Alert!: Code 055BCCAC9FEC Internet Security Alert: Your computer might ... Call Windows Technical Support:... I ran the Adw Cleaner from Malwarebytes that I find by googling. This annoying message keeps popping up. Apparently Adwcleaner did not find anything. I went to reset my Chrome settings per the Hitmanpro and this still keeps popping up. Any ideas what I should do now? Thanks.
  18. Porthos, I followed what you instructed and this procedure worked like a charm! I was going to get my license/key and activate the Free Malware but apparently the tab "Activate" is not there and checking the dashboard shows my license is activated already even though I did not put in my license. I suspect the MB Clean script probably got my license information and then input my license information back in the application. So all is working for me now. Many thanks for your help. It is really appreciated! Jim
  19. nikhils, I was contacted by a Malware support staff last Monday (Aug 21) and he asked me to execute the same stuff as showed in the post from another person. I will attach the three .txt files to this reply. I hope this will work but if I need to open the file and copy/past let me know. Thanks, Jim Addition.txt FRST.txt mb-check-results.zip
  20. I have used Malware for a couple years. Recently the Malware icon on my Windows box when I clicked it does not show Malware popping up. I opened a ticket and the guy sent me three (3) files to run on my computer and then send him those three files. They were going to use these three files to diagnose my issue. I sent those three files last Monday Aug 21 and have not heard back from them. Can anyone assist me with my issue? They got told me to download the newest version and provide me with my number (forgot what this is called?), maybe a confirmation number when I bought Malware. When I did this, download and then execute download, and then when I clicked the Malware icon. Nothing happened. Anyone have this issue before? I am running Mcafee on my computer and I am not sure if Mcafee provides enough protection which is why I subscribed to Malware. Thanks for any help you can provide. Jim
