  1. Not sure what you mean by "This", but all temp folders were emptied before I wrote the post. No thoughts on why it creates a temp folder in the directory I run it from? As mentioned it is running 8.1 (64 Bit if it matters), and the error was essentially "something went wrong" and a try again button. If I give up on Tweaking's AIO for the second time (stalls at 38 of 45), will hit it with HDTune, maybe there are physical errors on the drive.
  2. Do you mean the temp folder that JRT is making in the temp folder I run it from (I have never noticed this behavior from JRT) or the user's appdata\local\temp? Maybe the environment variables are screwed up from previously removed infections. I have dehosed this machine in the past and everything was fine, but I found many remote assistance .exe's in his download folder (10 downloaded in the same day so he didn't even know where they were going) so I assume he managed to get maybe a Norton tech in there; no idea what they did. There was an Essentware program installed and that is why I started with my standard cleanup procedure. Going to run AIO and see if I get a different result. Am attempting to upgrade this install to 10 and keeps failing. Let me know if you have any better ideas.
