Hi I have followed the F8 instructions above, then downloaded a fresh mbam from link, updated it and tried to run scan. The scan still halts after about 4 seconds. I also think part of your post is missing? Colin

Hi, my Vista laptop has aquired the Poprock trojan. Internet Explorer and Firefox fail to run. Am using Chrome to post. When I select scan Mbam starts to scan, then immediately disappears. any help appreciated. Thanks Colin First posted 251009 but topic locked
