I just got a virus on my computer called antimalware. One year ago my computer got antivirus pro on it and I got rid of it but this one wont even let me run ANY .exe files so I cant use my spyware doctor or iolo antivirus. I cant run task manager and stop the currently running programs that are malicious. None of the free help articles that I've seen online will work because I can't run any files. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, -Tom

sorry I should have woken up a little more before trying to work on this. I tried again and the combofix ran but seemed to have a few errors im not sure if thats normal or not. The log I got was 773k and it wont let me upload it.

I deleted highjackthis then reinstalled it and it let me move the file onto highjackthis and gave me the option to run it but then the message still pops up saying i cant use it even if I change the file name for hjt as well

When I drag the new file onto highjackthis it's still telling me I dont have appropriate permission to access the item.

OK tried using the combofix and it fixed a lot of things but then when my computer restarted it disabled the combofix and would not allow me to get back on either firefox or IE. I was able to change the name of the MBAM file and finally could use that but still can not use the highjackthis program. I do have a log saved of the MBAM scan now if that would help? It seems to just go around every attempt I've made (which has been many)

Recently I got hit by several viruses including Antivirus Pro and after removing that I recently got Antivirus 2010. I purchased iolo antivirus software that it wont let me install. After failing with that attempt I purchased PCTools Spyware doctor which temporarily helps me delete several different viruses but they install themselves every time I shut down the computer. I finally downloaded Malwarebytes which was able to install but not able to setup until I changed the name of it. My problem now is its installed but wont run the scan or do anything after I click it. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've had this problem for over a month now and its driving me crazy. I cant run the highjackthis logs but I was able to run GMER rootkit detector if that helps.
