  1. Under Settings / Protection, toggling the "Web Protection" option to "Off" permanently turned that option off for me, even after rebooting. I just got tired of the constant notifications that Web Protection was off that popped up after rebooting, until I learned in this thread how to disable those notifications. But now, I leave "Web Protection" on and utilize the "Exclusion" option to exclude my other programs that were having an issue with the "Web Protection" feature, and everything works great.
  2. Excellent tip! I will explore that option further. Again, thanks.
  3. Ahhh, there it is... Don't know why but I thought that setting had to do with something else. That's EXACTLY what I was looking for, thank you so much. Then yes, I realize the website protection would typically add more protection, but it was adversely affecting another program that I run. Thanks so much for your help!
  4. Thank you for your quick reply, and willingness to help. But does this mean there is no simple setting in MB that turns off those notifications that doesn't require such comprehensive diagnostic info to locate? As a non-technical person, providing those those types of logs in an open forum makes me somewhat uncomfortable.
  5. How do I stop the 'Real-Time Protection turned off' notifications from occurring when I've specifically disabled the Web Protection setting? I see that this is supposed to be a new usability feature since the May 10, 2017 / 3.1 update, but every time I turn on my computer, that notification pops up and I would like that to stop.
