  1. Wow, what a great "solution" to disable Self-Protection. For many weeks I thought my mouse is broken, although 4 months old. Slow reacting scrolling, had to push harder/twice on the left button. Now with the Self-Protection off, smooth as it should be. As mentioned, Windows explorer reacts faster. ? Turned it off on my wife's laptop. Also better response now.?
  2. A quote from Exile360: Just FYI guys, a new build of Malwarebytes is also now available. Component update 1.0.374 which includes the fix for performance issues with Ransomware Protection at the very least, and possibly more (I don't know the full extent of fixes yet). If you don't have it already, you can open Malwarebytes and go to Settings>Application and click the Install Application Updates button to get it.
  3. You always can download and install from: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/malwarebytes/malwarebytes-anti-malware/malwarebytes-anti-malware-3-3-0-6-release/
  4. True, not a logic/intuitive place for these settings.
  5. Yes Devin, that does the trick. With Fast Startup disabled, MWB is starting up on windows start-up. A point of focus for the next release maybe.
  6. Yep Windows 10. For your information, my wife's Win10 laptop gives the same result with quitting MWB 3.5.1. mbst-grab-results.zip
  7. When quitting MWB 3.5.1 with the taskbar icon, MWB does not start next time on computer/Windows startup after shutting down the computer and start the computer later on. However, when doing a computer restart after quitting MWB, MWB in starting normal. Bug or design?
  8. I'm also not a "Windows Insider". Just downloaded the 17134.1 from the Microsoft servers and made an ISO of it. Did a clean install and installed MWB 3.5.0. Runs perfect. No issues observed so far.
  9. Strange, I don't have that option (build 17133.73). Probably the reason I don't have problems with MWB.
  10. @Firefox Regarding the Windows Repair steps template, in the latest version there's an extra step before Open Repairs. You have to confirm now the Save Mode.
  11. As promised, did a clean install Windows Spring Creators Version 1803 build 17133.1. After that I installed MWB. No problems observed. Every setting is working as it should.
  12. As i wrote before, update my laptop to Windows 10 build 17133.1 (no insider), MWB is working normal. So, it's not per definition that 17133.1 has a bug irt MWB. Am installing 17133.1 on my desktop at this moment. I'll be back with the results.
  13. Maybe a little clarification https://www.malwarebytes.com/privacy/
  14. I did some testing, I don't think it's MWB itself. Maybe MWB is registering another program but DU Meter is showing MWB as source.
  15. Confusing, two same posts. Anyway, if you turn off Settings, Application, Usage and Thread Statistics (at the bottom), does it change anything?
  16. Just to let you know, updated to Windows 10 Pro version 1803 build 17133.1 (Spring Creators Update). No problems with MWB. Everything is working like it should be.
  17. Just follow the instructions given in the auto reply and post them here. Am sure someone of the staff will jump in.
  18. All right. Go to Settings and click Install Application Updates. It will install the latest version.
  19. Are you sure you have MWB version 3.4.4? The log shows you have 3.3.1, witch is an older version. The current version is 3.4.5. Please try that one first.
  20. Exile360, I agree with with you about the usability but there should be an option to clear everything.
