Problem: I try to open a Microsoft Word Document. Microsoft Word immediately shuts down, apparently because it was blocked by Malwarebytes.. Malwarebytes reports this problem:
Affected Application: Microsoft Office Word
Protection Layer: Application Hardening
Protection Technique: Exploit blocked by Bottom-Up ASLR Enforcement
I attach a log file from Malwarebytes.
I have scanned my computer with MalwareBytes, Eset, and Windows Defender (or whatever they are calling Windows Defender these days). Results are negative. I am fairly certain my computer does not carry malware.
I need MS Word for my work every day, but Malwarebytes apparently blocks MS Word.
Is this a detection error introduced by malwarebytes?
