So you noticed the crash before? If so, can you please do the following as well:
- Download and extract the attached crash_dumps.zip file
- In the folder, double click the crash_dumps.reg file and choose Yes when asked to import
- Use your computer as normal
If you notice it crash, or if you notice Web Protection not turning on, please check the following folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps\mbamservice for any files. If they exist, please zip them up and attach them here or send them to dcollins@malwarebytes.com using wetransfer.com. Thanks!
It was in this order:
1. Web Protection stuck on disabled
2. Random Mbam Service crashes
3. I ran MBAM Clean
4. Reinstalled
5. 1 and 2 start again
. EDIT: Nope, no files.

I would, I guess I'll try, but I highly doubt it will fix it. I actually used MBAM clean to uninstall MBAM about a week ago after the MBAM service kept crashing and web protection disabling itself. After doing a clean reinstall, it just did the same thing. I have a suspicious feeling the problem is deeper than that. Maybe it's partly because Windows isn't activated? I'm trying to use an old Windows 10 Pro key I have, but it isn't working.

Hello and Welcome...
We will need a few more logs
Let's try and get some logs first so the team can review them and see if they can tell what may be causing your issues....
- FIRST: Create and obtain Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) logs
-
Download FRST and save it to your desktop
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit - Double-click to run FRST and when the tool opens click "Yes" to the disclaimer
- Press the "Scan" button
-
This will product two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
- Leave the log files in the current location, they will be automatically collected by mb-check once you complete the next set of instructions
- NEXT: Create and obtain an mb-check log
- Download MB-Check and save to your desktop
- Double-click to run MB-Check and within a few second the command window will open, press "Enter" to accept the EULA then click "OK"
-
This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-check-results.zip
- This file will include the FRST logs generated from the previous set of instructions
- Attach this file to your forum post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area
Here you go. Thanks for responding so quickly.
