Apologies for the double-post (I think that's still a faux pas on the internet, right?) but wanted to bump this thread as I appear to have the same issue as the above user but I am not using the same anti-virus so can't say that's the problem. Around mid-July I had this problem of Malware Protection turning off. Another thread suggested re-installing MB3 and that worked for almost a month. 2 days ago I had the same problem of Malware Protection turning off and refusing to be turned back on again. I reinstalled MB3 and the problem was fixed. Yesterday, the problem happened again and again I reinstalled MB3. Today I turned on my computer and was again greeted by the message that MB3 can't turn on Malware Protection. I've again reinstalled but I'm afraid I'm going to run into this problem again when I turn on my computer tomorrow. I've attached the FRST, Addition and MB-check-results files so that someone might be able to help diagnose what the problem is. Thanks for any help anyone can provide on this. mb-check-results.zip

I also ran into this problem this morning, have never had this happen before. Cannot turn on malware protection. Will say it's starting and then back to disabled. mb-check-results.zip FRST.txt Addition.txt
