Win 10 Pro 64 bit - fresh install of OS and Mbytes - upon starting Mbytes = new version offered = accepted = reinstall failure Uninstallated ver 3 & still could not fresh install 3.0.5 = result same = unable to delete mbae64 & neither MBAMChameleon.sys did try the above instructions - NO GO either as User (with administrators right) and as a "real" administrator & unable to delete / rename even when using program called Unlocker 1.9.2 (usually very good with "stubborn" locked files) + was unable to take(change) file ownership = ?? rebooted to safe mode & tried once more with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool - nothing found-nothing to fix BUT managed to delete both of the files rebooted to "normal" user account and successfully (fresh) installed Mbytes 3.0.5 hope this helps Thank you for your Mbytes program

Hi all, just to add a bit of news On NEW / fresh install od Dell pc and the latest Malwarebytes + latest AVG v 9.0.686 the resolution for error 703 (0,5) = 1. deinstall mbytes 2.deinstall AVG 3.clean with mbam-clean.exe + reboot 4. just in case clean registry with CCleaner + Glary utilities - maybe not necessary 5.reinstall mbytes and test = all OK 6.reinstall AVG + test both = all OK so far Please note that all the exceptions (6 of them as mentioned in the posts above/before) in AVG ver 9 are in 2 places (maybe not needed but....) under tools\ advanced 1 = PUP exceptions = x all 6 of them 2 = Resident Shield \ Excluded files = x all 6 of them This way in my case it coexists together hope it helps Thank you
