  1. Glad to hear Malwarebytes solved your problem . In the future, you might want to check a site with WOT (or install it), before you visit it. For finally fast this would be: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/FinallyFast.com cheers
  2. Hi, then please wait till someone of the moderating team can help you out here . Have you updated to the latest version yet ?
  3. Hi, have you read this post ? >> http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...mp;#entry162100 Normally, there should pop up a balloon tip when a website (IP) is being blocked.
  4. Topic can be found here: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=9573 How about adding 2 things: 1) Where it says: "Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program." >> Suppose you cannot execute MBAM.exe, it would be nice to have a link where it says "If you cannot execute the setup file, or the setup is returning an error code, please download the file here " 2) Where it says: "If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version." >> Suppose you cannot update, it would be nice to add/execute the MBAM signatures.. "when you cannot update for some reason, or the setup is returning an error code, try downloading our rules/signatures here " Hope this helps . cheers-
  5. Hi, I think you can post your request for help here: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showforum=7 cheers.
  6. I'd use TFC by Oldtimer then, available here: http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/TFC-Temp-Fi...er-file187.html
  7. I'm also using Panda Cloud Antivirus, and I'm very satisfied of it. My second opinion would be MSE, as it's also pretty light and silently does the job. Hope that helps .
  8. I see your points, they would indeed target it. Firefox: that is true as well, sometimes it works by renaming the file, but not always. I'm not sure if the 'temp killer' idea is still applicable, it would come in handy. thanks for the opinions
  9. Great addition to the team, congratulations !
  10. Hi all, I've stated the 2 suggestions down below already, but I've just added another one. Please give me your opinion on this. 1) Like mentioned before, it would be nice that users are able to send a malware file from the quarantaine log to MBAM. I haven't encountered yet that I need to do that, but I think it would be a nice feature. Example: 'submit' button. 2) Malwarebytes developed the very useful tool FileAssassin, which you can also start in MBAM. Now, since some malware blocks the updating/installating of MBAM, I thought it would be nice to include a 'ProcessAssassin' or 'ProcessKiller' or whatever. There are of course already tools like Process Explorer, but in this case the ProcessAssassin would be designed to tackle mainly malware process. Thanks to process behaviour I think this might work. Example: you cannot start MBAM. you install ProcessAssassin. It displays possible malware processes in red, which users then can ask for more information, disable the process, or kill the process. 3) In addition to the above, as some malware (or most) also starts from the temp folder or can even restore itself from there, it would be nice to have a TempAssassin, TempKiller or similar as well, in addition to the ProcessAssassin I described above. It would just launch a simple bacth script (for example) and will kill the Temporary Internet Files as well as c:\temp, c:\windows\temp etc . Example : Malware will not be (fully) able to (re)start itself. cheers .
  11. Hi, Panda Cloud Antivirus and MBAM are perfectly working fine together .
  12. I agree, I hope TrendMicro will take the necessary steps as well. Congratulations MBAM team .
  13. Hi, thanks for the reply . I forgot to mention that I was referring to Taruns post for my 1st suggestion: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=4537

Just some thoughts . cheers
  15. Nice one ! We actually have 'Meals on Wheels' nearby our work. They deliver great sandwiches, and yes ... it's really company name
  16. Nicely written Marcin, it is stunning they just integrated MBAM's whole database into their product (correct me if I'm wrong) Also, you stated that they possibly stole other (parts of) databases of security vendors, may you provide us with the names of these other 'victims' ? I agree on all what is written here, and I admire the way you guys are standing strong to this.
  17. Check this topic : http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=21076
  18. That's great news, thanks Marcin and the whole MBAM staff !
