Weird stuff is occuring. Physical memory climbs linearly, MBAMservice.exe is identified. When I shut down MB,memory drops.Then memory continues to increase in MBAMservice.exe!! But I’m unable to stop the process MBAMservice.exe (access denied), memory drops. This happens even when I disconect from the internet.

my version info is almost the same as Corrine's and mwiebe71's except for the update package: Malwarebytes version 3.3.1.2183 Component package version: 1.0.262 Update package version 1.0.3799 I've also run the two tools, frst and mb-check. got the .zip file too. What next??

I'm having trouble with Malwarebytes again. I’ve had Malwarebytes 3.3.1.2183 installed and working fine since November. PC Win7 64bit. But today, the web protection was ‘turned off’ on both my PCs. I first quit MWB, the restarted it. Web protection as on for about a minute, then it was off. I also rebooted and did the same, with the same results. What's going on [I had the same problem last June By ILS, June 9, 2017 in Malwarebytes 3 ]?

OK. I'll go back over the instructions, re-do the logs and send them. Give me 5 to 24 hours; I just got back from a long trip. Thanks.

No I didn't send the logs. They contained too much personal information about the contents of my computer. 3.0.6 is stable on both my machines. Have you updated 3.1.2?

It's been over a month since I removed Malwarebytes 3.1.2 and reverted to 3.0.6. I keep getting messages that 'version update (is) available.' Is the version Malwarebytes 3.1.2, or have you a later version? As you might recall, I and many others had the same problem: protections (web and full) cannot be turned on. I have Win7 64bit PCs.

Sorry nikhils, I cannot share the data in FRST.txt and Addition.txt They reveal more about the contents of my personal computer than I'm not willing to share. Instead, tell me how I can go back to the stable 3.0.6. Thanks, ILS

As of my5th reboot on my 2nd PC, 3.1.2 still has 2 protections turned off. I would like to return to 3.0.6 ASAP; otherwise, Malwarebytes is useless. Tell me how. ILS

I updated to 3.1.2 on my 2nd PC. It too had the same problem (3.1.2 protections turns off). I've rebooted several times, and all but one time 3.1.2 protections (web and full) cannot be turned on. There must be a problem with 3.1.2 on Win7 64bit PCs.

Thank you. I used Malwarebytes mb-clean tool to uninstall, then I had to manually re-install. But now, 3.12 works fine: all protection settings are on. ILS

I'm using Malwarebytes 3.1.2. I click restore settings. No matter what I do, my web and real-time protection settings won't turn on.
