  1. Thanks, Porthos, for your help! I installed 3.1.2 and it's working fine. However, the thing I don't understand is the "update" issue. I've had the program set right along to "Automatically download and install application component updates" and to "Notify me when full version updates are available." Apparently, neither of these options worked in my case. Perhaps that was an issue with Version 3.0. If I hadn't inquired on this Forum, I would still be under the assumption that my "protection" was "current" and "up to date." That leaves me with a not-so-good feeling about MalwareBytes. I would think MB should alert their subscribers via email messages to issues such as this...assuming they are aware that the issue exists! Again, thank you for your help!
  2. Hi Porthos, Thanks for your reply. Before I do all that you have requested, which I will do if necessary, I'd like to give you the short answer. I am using Malwarebytes Premium Version 3.0.6. I just checked again to see if there was an update, and it says my program is "Up to date" in the icon tray and "Current" in the MB Dialog Box. So, no go on Version 3.1. Also, I verified once again that the program will not scan individual files. Your thoughts? Thanks!
  3. Hi. I joined this forum so I could tell you guys what you seem to already know...this bug in the new version 3 is still not resolved. I have used MB for many years and recommended it highly to my friends and relatives. Never had a problem like this. I'm so used to checking *every* file that I download that this is really beginning to become more than a little irritant. I can't recall exactly when I upgraded to 3, but my sense is maybe around January. Anyway, it was early this year. So now it's June 2 and I'm surprised that I still can't check every file I download. I'm sure you guys are busy over there at MB, but it would be really great if you guys could sort this one out! Thanks!
