I installed 3.1.2 and it's working fine. However, the thing I don't understand is the "update" issue. I've had the program set right along to "Automatically download and install application component updates" and to "Notify me when full version updates are available." Apparently, neither of these options worked in my case.
Perhaps that was an issue with Version 3.0. If I hadn't inquired on this Forum, I would still be under the assumption that my "protection" was "current" and "up to date." That leaves me with a not-so-good feeling about MalwareBytes.
I would think MB should alert their subscribers via email messages to issues such as this...assuming they are aware that the issue exists!
