  2. No, problems at all with updating to version 1.19: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.19 Database version: 901 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 2:10:54 29/06/2008 mbam-log-6-29-2008 (02-10-54).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 42478 Time elapsed: 6 minute(s), 35 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected) Thank you and have a nice weekend. 3. INSTALLING A HUSBAND Dear Tech Support, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do? Signed, Desperate Dear Desperate, First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) Also do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7. Good Luck, Tech Support
  4. That was fixed extremely quick, thank you Nosirrah. Updated and ran quick scan again and "AUTOEXEC.BAT" is gone. Mona.

  8. Hi JeanInMontana, Here is the log of another quick scan in English: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.17 Database version: 864 20:48:00 17/06/2008 mbam-log-6-17-2008 (20-47-57).txt Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 41906 Time elapsed: 4 minute(s), 17 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 1 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\mchInjDrv (Trojan.Agent) -> No action taken. Thank you. Mona.
  9. Can someone please confirm whether this could be a FP again ? Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.17 Database versie: 864 18:38:54 17/06/2008 mbam-log-6-17-2008 (18-38-45).txt Scan type: Snelle Scan Objecten gescand: 41322 Verstreken tijd: 4 minute(s), 56 second(s) Geheugenprocessen ge
  10. Hope this might help: My full scan ran without errors or crashing. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.17 Database versie: 846 17:49:47 11/06/2008 mbam-log-6-11-2008 (17-49-46).txt Scan type: Volledige Scan (C:\|) Objecten gescand: 139158 Verstreken tijd: 46 minute(s), 37 second(s) Geheugenprocessen ge
  11. Update to version 1.17 went without any problems. No reboot required an protection mode enabled. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.17 Database versie: 846 5:25:21 11/06/2008 mbam-log-6-11-2008 (05-25-21).txt Scan type: Snelle Scan Objecten gescand: 40679 Verstreken tijd: 2 minute(s), 5 second(s) Geheugenprocessen ge
  12. Just to let you know my update to version 1.16 went smoothly and didn't even require a reboot (I did -temporarily- disable my Online Armor firewall though). The protection mode is enabled as well. Both scans, a quick one, right after updating this morning, and a full one, when I got back from the office, ran without any problems. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.16 Database versie: 845 5:41:32 10/06/2008 mbam-log-6-10-2008 (05-41-32).txt Scan type: Snelle Scan Objecten gescand: 40717 Verstreken tijd: 4 minute(s), 16 second(s) Geheugenprocessen ge
  13. Just to let you know I've installed both programs and everything is running smoothly. Mona.
  14. I completely forgot to mention Scotty B), it's been a very long time since I've heard him give as much as a yelp. Heartfelt thanks, JeanInMontana. Can I run RogueRemover with real time monitor or would this interfere with (especially) AVG 8.0? I'll have a look at HpHosts as soon as I'm home from work. I'm really very grateful for everything I've learned here on this forum (and CastleCops and Dell support) and I admire all of you for your determination to keep us well informed and safe. Mona.
  15. Heartfelt thanks for all your suggestions. I have AVG 8.0 suite as my real time AV/AS protection (together with Online Armor Firewall), MBAM with real time protection and SpywareBlaster. I really try to practise "safe" surfing and have TrendProtect installed as well which gives me (along with Online Armor program guard) an additional protection to avoid dodgy websites, although most of the time I visit the same (considered safe) sites. A couple of weeks ago though I got a scare by visiting My Space and getting a warning about an infected profile, and that's why I might now be a bit too concerned about getting an infected notebook, hence my question about these scans. I also download attachments to a temp file and scan them with MBAM before opening them (very useful suggestion from joe53 at Support Dell Forums) and run CCleaner before shut down. I do realize this may all be a bit "over the top" but I use my laptop for work too so I really want to keep it clean. Mona.
  16. As a result of this (I have Spywareblaster installed) I disabled my scheduled daily scan by AVG 8.0 and run a daily quick scan by MBAM now, but I'm wondering whether I need to run a daily antivirus scan in additon to MBAMs scan? Thanks. Mona.
