  1. At first re-boot (the Farbar after fix), froze at the Admin sign in window. Just shut computer off, waited 15secs and started again, everything seems to be normal. Have not had an opportunity to verify much. One good sign, no redirecting to another page, nor the message about computer being compromised. Will update, if other symptoms occur. If you would like, we are open to suggestions and other processes to clean this up. BTW, was glad to see the Uniblue in your fix log, as well as the Asktool bar, these were items that we had tried to remove in the past. The Asktoolbar, tells me that we do not have the authority to remove it...LOL. Thanks much.....J&J.
  2. Was not able to uninstall Asktoolbar. As per request ran the fix.....here is the log. Fixlog.txt
  3. If you are referring to the question in post #2, there are many. We have had computer freezing, pop-up windows, and abnormally high blocking of website by MBAM premium. Many times the MBAM did not start(screen message), and we were required to start it ourselves. One of the most frustrating of the popup is a message that computer is comprimized, and to call the phone # in window. This number was suppossed to be a Microsoft hotline, but the IP's and phone #'s changed all the time. We never called it, have much more confidence in the members of the forum here. Thought that you guys had completely flushed us, so did some more work here on Saturday. There were some programs that was not being allowed to uninstall, (that movie included), but seem to have "loosened" them up with repeated scanning. This morning, the computer started well, MBAM loaded, but seemed to be high CPU usaged, sometimes getting to 90%. We are just ready to go to work (time zone differences), will follow the steps you require when we return home tonite......J&J.
  4. Here are my attached logs as requested in the "how to get help" post.... Thank you again for assistance....J&J. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  5. well I am about 3 or 4 days in and still having some problems. Still not sure if I am doing this correctly. Have run scans continually since first downloading your Malwarebytes program. Seems that some times just approaching icon on desktop, the computer starts to open Explorer 50 to 60 times, before I can get one of the scan programs opened. After this, Malwarebytes doesn't find anything, nor does the Avira program. The security essentials program, picked up Trojan:win32/FAKEXPA, and the first scan with the Malwarebytes found quite a few Sunday morning. I was able to quarantin the Cyber Security file into the Norton quarantine that came with computer, however, Yesterday morning when screen was flashing I was able to access control panel programs and deleted the same Cyber Security (the icon was changed). I know that you are all very busy, and I have read a few of the other threads so I realize how intricate the removal of problems can be. This is not to say that I understand even a tenth of what is listed in the logs that are sent to you. I am trying to learn and any help would be greatly appreciated. I deleted the Java off my system (you mentioned to another, that it was prone to infection or allowed infections in). Also the Alot toolbar program is being deleted. Please contact me back (hope you do) at your conveience, thank you have a good day. p.s. I am amazed at how many people on your site are having simular problems to my own, and how rapidly the updates are made for your malware programs.
