  1. Good question, I'm not sure. I'll uninstall and reboot later today and report back.
  2. My machine is certainly behaving oddly right now. When I reboot, i get the same response I posted above...it shows realtime not all active and then after an extended period of time (30-40 min) it resolves itself and shows all updated and enabled as you'd expect within a few minutes. I notice when this happens my internet connectivity seems to also be affected. Web pages take a long time to load, but once the extended period is resolved everything works perfectly as it should, fast web surfing etc. It's almost as if there's a process on reboot that's hanging and affecting everything else. I'm now not sure if its related to your product, to a windows update (there's been a few recently) or perhaps to removal a PUP I removed after I installed your product. When i first installed your product I think it found a couple of PUPs. I googled them and decided to dump them. I don't recall exactly what they were but one i do know because i wrote it down before searching it. pup.optional.FusionCore Your product quaranteened these and i later deleted them. Could that have been a bad choice? With the Ransomware outbreak, Microsoft has pushed several windows updates which I always install. Then you had a bad update on your software which caused it to work wanky. Any ideas?
  3. so i ran a scan to see if the app worked, it ran through it's entire scan and when it was finished i clicked the 'view report' button upon which my machine froze up and had to be powered off to restart. On reboot, the app doesn't work again. Then everything is going very slowly and after a long time the application seems to correct itself
  4. i didn't realize but something we did turned the application off. I just turned it on all is working I can't reboot right now but will later and report if it stays on
  5. Here's the 2 files i see Setup Log 2017-05-22 #001.txt Setup Log 2017-05-22 #002.txt
  6. Attached...reboot this morning. Exploit protection on others disabled...then after a long time all protections were enabled but still says out of date and clicking update doesn't seem to do anything. Still in the same situation as in my post just prior to my last mb-check-results.zip
  7. This morning it reported all protections enabled but didn't want to check for updates. Also when i go into settings under the Application tab, everything is turned off. It lets me turn on the "Automatically Download and install application component updates" and "notify me when full version updates are available" but once you close the GUI they are not enabled. It also lets me turn on 'Show Malwarebytes notifications in the WIndows System tray" and "Anonymously help fight malware by providing usage and threat statistics" but those also turn off when you close the GUI. It will *NOT* let me turn on "Show Notifications when Real Time Protection settings are turned off". On the "Protection" tab, it will not let me turn on "Automatically check for updates" but will allow me to turn on "Notify me if time since last update exceeds 24 hours" and "Start Malwarebytes at Windows startup" but those both turn off when the GUI is closed. After reboot the same exact thing, protections all enabled but 'updates not current" and doesn't want to update

  9. That didn't work. Each time i reboot i get different results. Sometimes it says up to date but protection disabled, sometimes it says out of date and protection is disabled and sometimes it says out of date but shows protections are enabled.
