  1. I've done as you have asked, hope this helps. mbst-grab-results.zip procdump-log 2.txt procdump-log.txt
  2. After turning off Fast Startup, the daily scan once again hung up. As per post #22, I restarted the computer and it was not hung up. I have attached a procdump I ran while the programme was hung up. Here also attached is the memorydump.zip mbst-grab-results.zip procdump-log.txt
  3. After turning off Fast Startup, the daily scan once again hung up. As per post #22, I restarted the computer and it was not hung up. I have attached a procdump I ran while the programme was hung up. procdump-log.txt
  4. I'm not sure when that came in. I have noticed over the last few weeks that whenever I did a shutdown, and then turned the computer back on hours later everything was starting immediately, with all the tabs still open. Thinking about it it was around the same time time as I was having the hang ups. I have turned off Fast Startup in my settings, and will run a full scan and let you know if there are any differences. Could it be a conflict between Fast Startup and Malwarebytes?
  5. I will do this, I've been away for several days, with the computer turned off, yet when I turned computer back on and opened Malwarebytes, found that it has been running for 96+ hours. Will need to run mbsupport before I can run MBAM.
  6. It seems to "hang" at a file in a folder that seems to have been created on Sept 5, the same day I reported the issue c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\NetFramework\BreadcrumbStore\System.Threading.Tasks, Version=2.6.10.0,culture =neutral, Publickeytoken=B03f57f11d50a3a. I've had a look on google, but can't seem to find exactly what it's used for
  7. I have followed the advice and have set up a threat scan, but again it hangs up. I've attached a screenshot for your information.
  8. I use the 2 am time as I download torrents at that time while I'm sleeping. I didn't realize that I was supposed to only do a threat scan. I have had Malwarebytes for several years and have done daily full scans since. It is only in the last few weeks that the daily scan seems to be "hang".
  9. I have Malwarebytes set for a daily scan every morning at 2am. Looked at it this morning (0700am) and it is hung up again on scanning the Files System, with just over 216K items scanned. Could it be an issue with a full scan, and am I being over thorough running a full scan daily?
  10. Sorry for the delay. For a normal threat scan it took 1 min,24 secs and scanned 292,064 items.
  11. I have done this, and ran a full scan with it hanging up. I have run both programmes together for several years without conflict, but will continue to temporarily disable Avast when I do a full scan of Malwarebytes.
  12. Not sure which log you wanted so here is is the whole MBST folder mbst-grab-results.zip
  13. Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I have had the same problem. I am running Windows 10, and running Premium 3.8.3. Mine has been uploading and scanning for 3 days I have restarted the computer multiple times, did a normal power off shut down and also turned the power off to the computer for several hours.
  14. Malwarebytes is set as a daily scan, the computer has a total capacity of 15.2 Tb across about eight drives, 6 internal and 2 external. Here are the logs as requested. Hope that you can make sense of them: Addition.txt FRST.txt mb-check-results.txt
  15. I am currently running the following: Malware Bytes premium version 3.3.1 and Avast 17.8.2318 (build 17.8.3705.249) I use Firefox 57.0(64 bit) and Chrome version 61.0.3163.100. I started a full scan, however it has been running for over 35 hours and hasn't finished. It was a fresh install as it has been doing this in the last week, so I deleted and downloaded from the site.
