Malwarebytes is no longer turning off web protection. oh you can close this account now. I only signed up to post on some ones thread. why has my reply been removed!!! bull s* it

@porthos I will try that if it starts switching itself off again. so far all's good here. will post report, later on my fix. my OS and system is at least 18mths from fresh install. seemed to me when updating Malwarebytes program from the app it was failing to overwrite mbae64.dll

I have been suffering from this as well! though I have solved it. after checking all remedies out on this thread. none worked.... my remedy = turn off Malwarebytes. if it fails to close,( it did for me) reboot and try again. now its closed down go to, Malwarebytes site and dl free trial. install it. start Malwarebytes. if web protection is still off when you run Malwarebytes turn it on. problem should now be fixed. I'm assuming it has something to do with having older version installed! first.
