  1. Sorry I did note see your Friday post. However here is my scan report from earlier today. My settings have always been as you recommend and I always follow up on any alerts. I also attach the previous recorded scan report from 8th June. This shows a program pdf converterhq which is listed as a blocked malware website that could be an intruder that has got installed. MalwareFixes, com reports " PDFConverterHQ is a toolbar and malicious browser extension. Users normally got this adware from third-party programs, freeware, and shareware. It is bundled to free programs and sometimes offered as added app to install. However, in most cases, PDFConverterHQ or PDF Converter HQ is installed without users consent. Throughout the setup of downloaded freeware, PDFConverterHQ Toolbar is also loaded into the computer without taking permission from user. The adware make changes on the system as well as targeted Internet browser. PDFConverterHQ adds toolbar and other components that intend to promote a program or sell a product." It seems I should attempt to remove it although no scans have prompted that. Scan report.txt scan682019.txt
  2. Yes. That indicated 1 ISP address had been breached twice, another alias address once, and Gmail not at all, and "found no pastes", so I assume I was not compromised. I am changing all instances of the pw quoted by the scammer. I use a good pw manager. Thanks for your help.
  3. Thanks for the information. Protection actions now being taken.
  4. Yes, by email addressed to me and it used my name and quoted one of the passwords I use for more than 1 site. The writer sought payment in bitcoin and claimed the email address he used could not be traced. I did not download the email from the server to Outlook and deleted it using the Mailwasher program, professional version. The email text was read in txt mode preview (usually headers only) in Mailwasher.
  5. I have a suspicion that I have been attacked by someone who claims to have discovered all my passwords, contacts and website visits, and is claiming $$ to stop sending embarrassing details of my internet visits etc to my contacts. But scans show no signs of penetration only blocked attempts. I started to change a password for Utube and came across an advert for Flexispy which worries me as this seems to be a program like a trojan that can penetrate a computer that it does not have access to. Please confirm that i am protected from this program. I did not download the offending email and deleted this from the ISP server so have no details of sender who claimed to be untraceable anyway. Thanks for any help BrianE Addition.txt FRST.txt
