  1. Where in the software do I perform an update? Most software has an update tab or something on the help or about screens.
  2. Thank you. I could not find a website reference and assumed MB updates itself automatically. I'll update and see what happens.
  3. No I am certainly not going to waste my work day by uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting and all that nonsense! My Linux and BSD machines *never* require me to reboot when software is installed, uninstalled or updated. And I'm not convinced that I should have to go through all this pain for a problem already admittedly caused by the product supplier. Or why any user should have to. Whatever the problem is, it is being created at the code level, not here locally. In any event I am already up to date with MB ver. 3.0.6.1469, CP ver.1.0.103, and UP ver.1.0.2071 - and it would be nice if we could copy and past that from the About screen instead of having to retype. Sorry for the harshness, but I have, since the first version of Windows, totally lost patience with Microsoft-based software and the consequent finger pointing at the user and pushing workarounds instead of solutions. Not your fault.
  4. Malicious Web Protection Won't Enable and when I tried to run a scan it completed in less than a second. I ran MBAR with nothing bad found. Logs n such are attachec. mb-check-results.zip FRST.txt Addition.txt logs.zip
  5. Thank you, I certainly don't wish to exclude it. I simply silenced the popups.
  6. Following up on https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/195785-what-is-the-problem-with-sync-euexebid/ it appears the question there was never answered exept in a general way (I think by a customer not a staff member, but not sure). Also, MWB does now again consider this site to be malicious. So . . . can someone shed some light on exactly what this side is/does and whether or not it is a threat? Pending that I've asked by security people to firewall the entire .BID top level domain.
