Thanks everyone, ya I've heard some bad things about EAC as well. Unfortunately a lot of these Steam games require it to play. Based on what I've heard about EAC and what it accesses on the pc I guess you would say that the MBAE is doing it's job as intended.

Confirmed, Turning this off they all startup fine. Turning it back on I get the same error. Also, feedback - Turning that setting off causes a big hang on my system. Win7 64bit

I updated to MBAM 3.0 and now it's blocking any game I launch from Steam that requires the EAC Easy Anti Cheat service. I close MBAM and problem goes away, I've had MBAM and have been using Steam for many years - this is the first I've seen this happen. I've checked with 3 different steam games and they all get the exact same error (if they use EAC) Screenshot attached.
