  1. I did a Malwarebytes Support Tool: "Clean" and "Repair System". So far, the issue has not returned. But if it does, I will reply back.
  2. Seems like the problem might be tied to Google Chrome... anyone else here using chrome at the time?
  3. mbst-grab-results.zipThanks! Hope it helps you find the problem.
  4. I'll update if it changes, but disabling self-protection has fixed this for me... so far.
  5. Something else I should mention, is I also have a laptop with the same version of windows 10 (with malwarebytes)... that so far has not had the issue. Maybe I should just reset settings?
  6. Odd, thought the problem was gone. Woke PC up from sleep mode... and as soon as I opened Chrome it started freezing again. Tried toggling web/exploit/malware/ransomware. It seemed to go away when ransomware was disabled. but re-enabling it didn't make it come back immediately... I'll try disabling the self-protection and see if it comes back.
  7. I think it had something to do with pihole ( dns telemetry/tracking blocking ), with it disabled and a reboot I haven't had freezing so far.
  8. I'm having the same issue, if I close malwarebytes the freezing goes away. Windows 10, 1903 While scrolling a page/image is when it is most obvious. Hope this can be fixed soon!
  9. I was having this same issue, just started yesterday in the evening. BAD_POOL_HEADER Tried system restore to move everything back to the 20th... Still same problem... (Thought it was a just-installed-app, at first). Seemed to be trigged by attempting to use USB3 (LINKSYS) wifi stick. Uninstalled Malware Bytes, after seeing a thread about other people having the same issue on reddit. For some time though, it kept saying no realtime protection after rebooting. Windows defender is disabled. Leaving it uninstalled for now. Hopefully someone here can email if the issue is resolved, or if more information ( hardware specifics, dumps, logs ) are needed. Windows 10, i7 2600k, 32GB DDR3 (Corsair with XMP profile enabled... passed MemTest86... thought it could be bad bit in RAM at first, common reason for BAD_POOL), GTX 980ti, Crucial 960G SSD, USB3 PCI-Express card, Hardware RAID card. UFEI booting, ASUS motherboard, USB3 LINKSYS WiFi stick. To be honest, if I don't get contacted about the issue being resolved... It will probably stay uninstalled and i just won't renew. I shouldn't have to come back regularly to find out if a major problem like this was resolved.
