  1. I agree in essence. I have turned all real time protections off in my premium version and just use it occasionally to manually scan my computer. The product was sold on the basis that it could live with other anti virus and programs, but that no longer appears to be the case. A real pity.
  2. I was curious, so I disabled self-protection. Programs do seem to open quicker when it is disabled, particularly Word 2013 which becomes quite snappy.
  3. Updated to 3.4.5. Update process seems a lot smoother. Not sure the problem with the USB drives has been solved. The only way I can eject a drive is to shut down Malwarebytes completely (shutting down Ransomware protection does not help). Problem always occurs after a Acronis back up is run. Other than that all good.
  4. This problem has been driving me crazy and I couldn't work out why it was happening. At least I now know why and how to get around it. And I agree with the original poster.
  5. No problems here either. The upgrade seemed to be very quick. No computer problems. Thanks.
  6. I occasionally lose web protection. It seems to coincide with an auto Kaspersky rootkit scan, but does not occur on a regular basis.. I wonder if there may be some conflict. Only way to get web protection back is to exit Malwarebytes and restart it. Apart from that the product seems solid. I have the current version installed.
