  1. Yes I have several customers coming into our store today all with the same symptoms whats going on guys? We have tech's on site getting calls for this as well all today some complaining its been happening for days... @Porthos @exile360 this probably needs to get escalated ASAP
  2. Malwarebytes 3 is flagging Ruby as ransomware, removing the executable, and as I'm just discovering there is nowhere to recover a file that has been deleted when detected as ransomware. Its pretty annoying because I would like to keep my ransomware protection enabled. Are there any plans to allow exceptions to be added for these ransomware detections since false positives are in the wild - The same way regular detections can be excluded? Or is https://rubyinstaller.org/downloads/ spreading ransomware? BTW its the top link that was tested. Ruby 2.4.2-2 (x64)
  3. Thanks, even an option to default to scan all drives would be enough of an option to make it less of a pain, I'm a member of Techbench so I use toolset for our customers, but I would like my personal MB3 to be able to do this without having to use Toolset on my machine...or switching tabs...
  4. Is there any way to set the default view off of the dashboard and onto the scan tab? to make custom scan quicker to get to when drives are attached, which for me is always =) or a way to setup a custom scan as default from dashboard? (otherwise it only scans my local system and not my usb connected drives which get quite a bit of use and need to be checked as well, its gets slightly annoying after a while to always have to switch tabs)
  5. Issue installing 3.3. Screenshot of error attached. Win10pro v1709 - Net Framework 4.5 installed, C redist 2017, cannot think of any reason this should be happening. Installer asks which language I would like to use, English(Default) is left as selection and ok is pressed, before installer window with agree button appears(it never appears) this error shows up and application crashes.
  6. I will check it out now, thank you for the help! Also the malicious batch file calls out to an FTP server that's at the IP address in the below screenshot. L.A. Thanks!
  7. FYI Eset Online Scanner shows detection of these on Virustotal so I'm assuming I can remove it with that but am continuing this process because I want to help MB3 detection rates. Is the submitted file enough or would you like to continue?
  8. https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/f7816b99d8a117e626714cb81ca47282e38cae578d4dfd074bbcf67253ddb51c/detection Mbam-Reports(Contains Virus).zip
  9. So there is a scheduled task that runs every 3 hours on an old server 2003 machine. This used to be covered by MB3 and still is installed however the newest version of mb3.2 says server is no longer supported. I am a member of techbench and the toolset command line will run fine. However no matter which utility I do get to successfully run nothing is detecting anything. Ive tried MBAR, detect nothing, TDSSKiller detects nothing. When all tasks are deleted somehow another pops up that loads a batch that makes a ton of system changes and reschedules itself back in the scheduler. Have you guys seen, LSMOSEE.EXE before?
  10. I would think recommending upgrading to MB3 Premium as a replacement should certainly be allowed and encouraged here on the forums? (And would be sound advice at that)
  11. if you click on the gender dropdown at all even if you leave it blank it activates that field to display and now I look stupid ha ha!
  12. Web protection will not turn on in MBAM3 on multiple machines. Is there a way to troubleshoot or manually correct this?
