    Hi - I had the same problem - 2 PUPS detected in ADWcleaner, quarantined and then reboot. Unfortunately, the PUPs are replaced during the reboot. I know that they reappeared during reboot because I terminated ADWcleaner before the reboot but after quarantine and re-ran it - nothing detected - until I rebooted of course. PUP.Optional.Legacy C:\Windows\System32\drivers\swdumon.sys PUP.Optional.SlimCleanerPlus HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\SlimWare Utilities Inc Now I've removed Avast Driver Updater and all is well.     All sorted. Thanks for the prompt response.

    Malwarebytes reports what Avast appears to be calling their Driver Updater as a PUP - swdumon.sys containing PUP.Optional.DriverUpdate. The Avast software looks like a clone of the DriverUpdate reported on other forum pages - I thought Avast were reputable - now I'm just confused. Help welcome.
