  1. This is probably gonna come off as 'I'm doing something wrong', but I promise i'm not. D: I pasted what you copied, and I get a message "Windows cannot find "%SYSDIR%\task\%USERACCOUNTNAME%. Confirm that you have typed the name correctly and blahblah." I tried different combinations too. Is there another way to pull the logs?
  2. Hello Kevin! Thank you for your time and answer. Before I turned the laptop off yesterday, I ran JRT and Hijackthis for a second time. And today when I logged on in Firefox, everything was good and back to normal. Quite weird I must say, could it have been more than one copy of this steam-sd running? So when I ran the anti-malware programs the first time, they executed only one out of couple? Anyway, I'm glad this is over with. I appreciate all this effort you did for me, and I'm sorry I didn't get to use your advice. I will bookmark and refer to your post if the malware pops up again. Thank you once again.
  3. Hello there. I hope you're able to help me. I've got an issue, when I start Firefox, it opens 2 tabs. 1 is my normal one. The second one is "http://sd-steam.info/" Which is a Russian site of some sort. Annoying little startup. I've tried scanning my laptop with Eset, with JRT, and with HijackThis. Eset didn't find anything, JRT and Hijack both removed the little bugger, but when I rebooted, it returned again. I also resetted Firefox to no avail. Help please
