  1. Hold on, the problem just resurfaced with chrome open. I just disabled hardware acceleration in Chrome. Could that be the issue? I'm pretty sure though that I was still even this issue even when Chrome was closed.
  2. I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro on an HP p6500z desktop with an AMD Sempron 140 processor (2.70 GHz) with 3.0 GB of RAM, so I'm 100% positive I'm virus free. I also have the antivirus program Avira installed alongside Malwarebytes. The problem I'm having now is that the process MBAMservice.exe associated with Malwarebytes is consuming close to a 100% of my CPU. When I uninstalled Malwarebytes it solved the issue. How can I use both Avira and Malwarebytes at the same time without maxing out my CPU?
