I guess my question comes down to......can Malwarebytes delete known malware without placing it in quarantine?

So, because I was half asleep at 5am this morning, I clicked on a link in Facebook Messenger from a friend who must have been hacked. I immediately realized my mistake and ran a Malwarebytes scan. It detected two malware files and I had the option to quarantine them, which I did. However, they never showed up in the Quarantine folder? I ran two more scans at 15 minute intervals.......both were clean with no threats found. So, do I assume that Malwarebytes permanently removed the two original threats?

Hi Guys, am I correct in assuming that when I get my new Laptop in a couple of months, I can deactivate the license on this Laptop, and then install Malwarebytes on the new device and activate the license? Or is it more complex than that?

Hi Guys, I'll be purchasing a new Laptop soon. I've been very impressed with Malwarebytes, and I intend to install it on the new Laptop. Can I use Malwarebytes as my only source of protection, alongside the embedded windows protection software, or do I need one of the dedicated anti virus products as well?

I'm set up to automatically renew Malwarebytes a year from now, but if I were to change my Laptop between now and then, can I transfer the coverage to the new Laptop using the License key that I have now, or would I have to purchase Malwarebytes again with a new license key and disable the 'renew setting' on this Laptop?

Thanks all for your responses. As I'm not having any issues running Norton and Malwarebytes side by side, I think I'll leave things just as they are.

Hi Guys, I recently installed Malwarebytes 3.0 on my Widows 10 Laptop. It works perfectly, and I love how easy it is to use. This computer came with a pre-loaded Norton Internet Security product. The two software programs seem to run seamlessly alongside each other and I've had no issues, but my question is do I still need Norton when it appears that Malwarebytes does everything that Norton does and more? I'm not seeing any performance issues, I was just curious. Thanks.
