When I run a scan on v3.06 free, it spends a few seconds in the Updates section, then to the pre-scan operations section and after a few more seconds the scan ends. A window announces the scan and quarantine are complete, and the number of items scanned is zero. When I look at the scan report the result is listed as "cancelled". This happens every time I try a scan.
This is on a Dell Optiplex 9010 computer, WinXP sp3.
How can I troubleshoot this problem?
