  1. When I run a scan on v3.06 free, it spends a few seconds in the Updates section, then to the pre-scan operations section and after a few more seconds the scan ends. A window announces the scan and quarantine are complete, and the number of items scanned is zero. When I look at the scan report the result is listed as "cancelled". This happens every time I try a scan. This is on a Dell Optiplex 9010 computer, WinXP sp3. How can I troubleshoot this problem? 2. My Malwarebytes 1.70 update any longer. The error message indicates "host not found", so I'd guess there is a different update address/link required. Is this correct, and can it be entered into one of the files to rejuvenate my older version. I have a newer version, but prefer to use the older one.
  3. I'm using and older version 1.70 of Malwarebytes and just installed it on a new WinXP installation. When I try to update the database it fails, giving the "host not found" error. Is there a new update address that I need to use, and can I access the file its in in order to change it?
