    Thank you I tried the uninstall tool and then was able to install Malwarebytes. Thank you so much for your help and sorry for the delayed reply.

    I ran the cleaner then downloaded from the link you provided. When installing I got the following error: c:\windows\system32\drivers\mbae64.sys An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5. Access is denied. Click retry to try again, ignore to skip this file (not recommended) or Abort to cancel installation. Please advise what I should do.

    Just got a new HP laptop and 5 minutes after I fired it up my antivirus told me I had a threat. I tried to run mwb but it would not run. I uninstalled it and then tried to re-install it but get an error message when trying to install. Attached are my FRST and Addition.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
