  1. Deleted those 2 files as instructed and ran another new Full Scan and NOTHING SHOWED UP !!! Finally resolved, THANK YOU and you can close this out and hopefully I won't have the same problem again when you have another full update.
  2. Done and everything in Google seems to be where it was or should be. Now then will this get rid of those PUPs I keep getting in scans ?
  3. Seems like I had to do this same thing when the 3.3 FIRST CAME out and I did notice there was an update about 2 weeks ago which was when this problem started First.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  4. First off I was never notified that you had replied to my post. I followed all of the instructions in the link sent. I have Malwarebytes 3.3.1 which is the latest update but I went and downloaded it again even though thr link was only to the FREE download and not the PREMIUM I have. I ran the scan which took 15 plus minutes and came up with several problems which needed a reboot to remove. Then I ran it again for another 15 minutes and it came up with the 4 PUPS it originally had which meant quarantining them and going to plan "B" unlinkink chrome etc, anothe scan same outcome, Plan C manual removal of parts of Chrome listed and Rescan, with SAME RESULTS which means NOTHING has changed after over an hour of scans and fixes to Chrome that haven't worked. My question is WHAT ARE THOSE PUPS I sent in and keep getting?? and what effect are they having on my Laptop?
  5. Be happy to Zip the requested files IF I KNEW HOW TO
  6. I am getting those same files when I run a scan please contact me @ my registered email addy with info
  7. Ihave also been getting the same types of Results from my scans over the last week. What's up ?
  8. Suggestion - try this, go to where you have it saved, right click on it and hit run as admin
  9. It's worked 2 days in a row now but lets see what happens when the next update comes out and is downloaded automatically
  10. The BEST way I have found to fix the problem of it not starting is to RIGHT CLICK the Malwayrebytes ICON on the bar and QUIT MALWAYREBYTES, wait about a minute and then restart it. DONE.
  11. As I stated before. The BEST way I have found to fix the problem of it not starting is to RIGHT CLICK the Malwayrebytes ICON on the bar and QUIT MALYWAYREBYTES, wait about a minute and then restart it. DONE..
  12. Update - After having all the same problems again yesterday I did the clean and re-install AGAIN ( 5th time since 3. came out ) yesterday and things worked again. This morning when I booted up it WAS ARNOLD AGAIN ( I'm BAAAACCK to NOT turning on again ) . I'll try the next ( and easiest) method NIKHILS suggested since it doesn't appear this will ever be fixed correctly.
  13. Lets hope so since this has happened repeatedly when updates are made
  14. And even 1 consumer having a repeated problem as noted by the complaints after the new version was rolled out is still not acceptable let alone 100's
  15. Nothing found and TXT of report enclosed Scan Report.txt
  16. Newest version finally installed and I am now going to run the 1st scan and see if it finds anything.
  17. No it failed and said to sen you the TXT I sent
  18. I did the clean and it said to attach the TXT mb-clean-results.txt
  19. This problem has happened at LEAST 5 times in the past 6 months to 100's of us since the new version 3.X was instituted, there is NO EXCUSE for this happening over and over.
  20. Why is it that we have to keep RE-installing another version over the one currently installed since it KEEPS HAPPENING ?
  21. It seem that since the new 3.5 issue last year there have been problems, I seem to get a popup telling my my malwaybytes is not turned on AFTER EVERY NEW UPDATE. What's upo and WHY HASN'T this been FIXED. It won't even turn on if I try to .
  22. Just received a new email from CVS and No blocking message appeared when I opened it.
  23. i n response to my inquiry and per Malwarebytes staff, the CVS email is a false positive and will be unblocked on the next update.
