  1. Was able to finally bootup. The computer is running fine at the moment. I have turned off web protection on MB hoping that was the cause of mwac.sys BSOD. Attached are the FRST and Addition file as requested. Thanks. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  2. Hi, Thanks for the reply. Since I cannot boot the computer at all (just getting a blank screen), can I still use the malware support tool? I have tried to make a Win10 recovery disk via instructions from this website (https://www.tenforums.com/software-apps/27180-windows-10-recovery-tools-bootable-rescue-disk.html) but had no luck. Please note that I am not a techie so my know how about computers is limited. regards
  3. Hello, My computer had a BSOD crash due to mwac.sys. After restart, the computer is stuck in boot loop. I cannot boot in any mode including safe. Any ideas what I can do? thanks
  4. sorry for the confusion.......i had disabled Kaspersky....not uninstalled it.......

I guess now I have another issue......it seems after logging in Win7 the computer "hangs".....it looks like the some program is trying to load up but cant load......I turned off "start malwarebytes at startup" and windows load fine now.....no issues.......not sure which program is interfering with MB3 as I have turned off both anti-virus and defender to check but still having the issue.......

  7. Hi, Malwarebytes 3 latest version (from hereby MB) is not opening on windows 7 SP1 even though on taskmanager it shows mbam.exe running. I have uninstalled MB via control panel and then mbam clean tool and reinstalled but having the same issues. If anyone has any suggestions on how can I fix the issue please let me know.   8. Ron, I had disable Kaspersky & Windows Defender and did a system restart to see if either of the programs were preventing Malwarebytes from opening. I still could not get Malwarebytes to open with both Kaspersky and Defender disabled. Jim
