  1. I have tried following the various helps in the above as I am having a similar issue on my new Win 10 computer. I have now uninstalled and reinstalled Malwarebytes a couple of times but getting the same results. When I click on the icon to run it I am getting: "Unable to connect to the service." When I attempted to go to certmgr.msc, I get the following: "Windows could not start the Malwarebyte service on local computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start." Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much.
  2. I would note that when I rebooted my system, I no longer am getting the error! Do you think I would still be wise to update to 3.0.6? Will my license still be good for 3.0.6?
  3. I would note that after I rebooted my system, I am not getting the error any longer.
  4. I recently installed 3.0.5. I notice that it tells me I am not fully protected and need to turn Exploit Protection on. When I click on it says it is "starting" but never changes! If I update to 3.0.6 do I just uninstall the 3.0.5 and then install 3.0.6? Will I be able to use the same activation key etc. as I used for 3.0.5? Where is the best place to download 3.0.6 from? Thanks for the help!
  5. I have always ran the free version and just uninstalled it and now am running 3.0.5 and am getting the same thing. Then, when I try to turn the Exploit Protection on it says it is starting but never seems to start. Any ideas? I am running Windows 7.
