  1. It's back! Same problem has come back again after a few weeks of stability, great. Better news my emails to Malwarebytes support are being picked up as spam by something called Spamhaus Project, I guess this stops them from receiving support requests or having to deal with paying customers asking to have what they have paid for :^))
  2. Since uninstalling Malwarebytes, rebooting my PC, running mbam-clean-2.3.0.1001.exe (available from the support area of the Malwarebytes website), rebooting my PC and then reinstalling the .05 version I did not have this problem reoccur. I left it for a few days without issue and then updated to the .06 version a few days ago and have still not had a reoccurrence of this issue. This method of curing this issue was published in one of the many threads on this topic (sorry I can't remember who suggested it!) and my thanks to them for sharing it. Well, I obviously spoke too soon! After carrying out the process above the .05 version ran for 3-4 days without issue, I then saw the recommendation and updated to the .06 version and again this ran for 3-4 days without issue then yesterday I started getting the same issue, Real Time Protection - Web protection has stated turning itself off again. Glad I hadn't got round to sorting this issue on my laptop as that would have been a waste of my time! Malwarebytes, many of us are paying customers and this is not what we expect. I accept that problems occur, but I do expect that they will be repaired and sorted out in a reasonable amount of time, which this hasn't.

  4. There are other threads relating to this issue dating back to December. I am also waiting for a solution to this issue. I find that rebooting after reaching the point you show allows the protection to turn on, but then it fails after a few hours and a warning is generated, this can be repeated until extreme boredom sets in :^))
  5. January 20th, issue still exists. Select to turn on Real Time Protection - Web Protection after it has failed - 'starting' displayed but never reaches 'on', even after waiting many minutes. Reboot PC Real Time Protection all turned on, an hour or so later Web Protection turns back off and a warning message is generated. Repeat until bored. As a paid for product I would expect a better response (support case raised on the Malwarebytes web site) than an issue still going on after over a month at least after it being reported.
