  1. Thanks for clarifying. I will regularly check your website to see when the professional MacOS version is available. Regards, Robert
  2. Thanks for that again. I have made another observation. We are still using Sophos and Sophos puts quarantined objects into a directory that I can define locally on my machine. I do not see that option neither in the Mac nor the Windows 3.0.5 version of your software. It looks as if detected threats are just being flagged by your software. Maybe I just overlooked something. Regards, Robert
  3. Hello all, I am a system and network admin and I am testing Malwarebytes on a Windows 10 and a MacOS X machine before making a recommendation to our management. I found the following issue with v 3.0.5: 1. On the Windows machine I have deliberately disabled the so-called "real time protection" but I get regular pop-ups (notifications) that I have to dismiss manually. What can I do to suppress these notifications ? I have disabled notification in the Windows Notification Center. 2. I found that I cannot manually type a path in the folder/file exclusion section. All I can do is to select a folder or file ? Why is that ? Regards, Robert
  4. Hi, I am running Little Snitch on my test machine and after stopping it temporarily version 160 was installed successfully. I should have thought of that, but on the other hand I remember that I explicitely allowed *two* processes to connect: sirius.mwbsys.com sirius-sir-prod-web.us-east-1.elasticbeanstalk.com The third connection that is needed for the signature file update was obviously blocked automatically: data-cdn.mbamupdates.com BTW, what is the XPC Service ? Regards, Robert
  5. Hello all, I am a system and network admin and I am looking at installing "Malwarebytes" office wide. After having installed the Mac version 1.2.5.715 on a test machine I noticed that the signature file is version 120 and it dates back to 19 Sep 2016. Is the signature databases no longer updated ? In that case I would have to look at other solutions. My second question is: the Windows version comes in a paid Premium version. Is there a premium version for Mac OS as well ? Regards, Robert
