  6. Windows 7 laptop with Malwarebytes 3.5.1 Premium licenced version expires in November 2018. At some point in the last six weeks laptop been infected with a Trojan. When I ran a Malwarebytes scan it found and quarantined satisfactorily but I noticed that the version had reverted to Trial version. I put activate code in and all back to Premium. Are there Trojans than can revert version of Malwarebytes back to Trial or has something else happened? Please assist as this is worrying...
  7. Maybe you should have told me that before I ran the clean rather than afterwards... Laptop is not locked, just Malwarebytes and the MB Clean program

  12. Malwarebytes said there was a new version for my 2nd laptop. So I upgraded from 3.0.6 The upgrade required a restart. On restart I got the message 'Malwarebytes unable to connect the service' and get the same message whenever I try to run Malwarebytes. PC runs Windows 7 Professional, fully up to date. Norton 360 Premier is AV software. Please advise... Meantime I won't be updating my other PCs.
  13. Similar issues here. System Tray often shows Web Protection off. If I turn on in MalwareBytes then I see as attached image although system tray reports now on. Is it on or off? How can I tell? In addition system tray consistently reports Updates: Out of Date whilst Dashboard shows Updates: Current. V2 ran perfectly, so far as I could tell, for years but v3 seems very problematic.
