I am currently just running with the Ransonware protection disabled but the rest of the real time protection modules running in conjunction with KIS 20 Patch e. 2 & 3. I've had this issue as well, unfortunately by the time I had found this thread I'd restored a previous system image whilst offline as i was trying to work out which update had caused it starting last Wednesday evening for me but I have experienced the problem with Firefox, Thunderbird, Inkscape and Microsoft teams if you try and make a call it wont connecrt. Plus uninstalling Kaspersky Secure Connection also hangs. I have since given up on the specific exclusions and just disabled the ransomware module as the types of failure aren't always predictable.   3. This seems to work for me and I am not experiencing any issues as described by miguelgrado. I did have to manually uninstall the Kaspersky Protection Firefox addon and reinstall it to get Safe Money working. Once uninstalled just reinstall it from C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 19.0.0\FFExt\light_plugin_firefox\addon.xpi. I have the mutual exclusions in place on KIS and MBAM. KIS 2018 405(h) with MBAM Premium 3.4.5 and 3.5.1 exhibits the problem adding the exclusions described and making the changes to KIS settings recommended as the workaround (https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2324) have no effect. I can access http://iptest.malwarebytes.org/ from all browsers.   5. Sorry I hadn't put a notification for replies on this thread and so didn't see the response. Okay same problem although it's now flagging a different file.   6. Hello, I download all programs into a UNC path on my NAS drive. Since upgrading to MBAM 3.0 it now throws an error and shuts down firefox when I attempt to save to this location. This is the current version of 84bit IrfanView available from links on their site or majorGeeks and the SHA-256 checksum has been validated: 38c9ac7b8c7c4342ecabd139e5ca4e9bd9460f0b541c00dfcd3e9d76cc125888. KIS 2017 also finds no issues with this file. Putting the file on a local disk and saving into the directory doesn't trigger an exploit warning.
