  1. Is there any way to get rid of the message as it stands now?
  2. My upgrade was successful however, I cannot get rid of the "you can protect more devices" notification from my dashboard. I clicked the "learn how" and scan button thinking it might erase it but it did not. I would like to have the "You are Protected" with the big green check instead of the add for more devices. My other computer which is a windows 7 ultimate was not affected. My main computer which is windows 10 professional was.
  3. Update without a hitch. Everything working A-OK. !!
  4. I guess you always see the issues and not the users that don't have issues. Is it OK to download over top of the current version 2.2.1.1043 ?
  5. I'm still running the "old" 2.2.1.1043 and it seems to work well. Been watching the issues on here and was wondering if there is a reliable version OR should I stick with the old version since I'm not having any issues. It has been trouble free however the newer version seems to have more issues. I am a premium user and would like to get the extra benefit of the newer version, but I am reluctant to do so simply because of the problems. I am running Windows Ultimate 64. Thanks for any comments.
  6. Version 1403 is working with no issues so far. It was a process but thanks to the team for getting this resolved.
  7. Dan, you obviously did comprehend my message so I'll try again. "When program are released they should be done so after they have been tested, beta tested and field tested before it is released." We never or rarely had issues with the older MBAM or Anti-Exploit releases, so logically in my mind these has to be a reason why. If you're not having issues Bravo, me and a whole bunch of others, not so lucky. I'm sure the guys at MB are doing their best, is just frustration setting in.
  8. I too have this issue and it happened after the last "automated" update. Forgive me for being blunt, but I'm just a consumer not a business where I have an IT department and certainly not a computer geek and I can manage my way around this machine but not to the extent that you require all of these reports. That said, If we (others) didn't experience this situation before and now all of a sudden we do after this update, then it's your misapplication of certain tweaks to the program that didn't work. I don't like to spend hours on this machine trying to get it right when it should have been right from the get go. This is one reason that I am balking at installing MBAM 3.0(yes I am a paid premium user) because of all of the issues and the required work to get it right that's on my dime. When program are released they should be done so after they have been tested, beta tested and field tested before it is released. Sorry for the rant but this is stupid, I come down open up my computer and can't get IE to work, but then Firefox works as expected. This should not require hours of forum messages, try this, try that, send me your logs, wait and maybe we can get it fixed by the next version type of thing. I now that you guys try hard to solve our problems, but we should not be have these type of problems in the first place. I never had issues with the old Version 2 of MBAM of Anti-Exploit. I hate to say it but my faith in the entire Malwarebytes organization is fading very fast. When your main program (MBAM) is messed up and now Anti-Exploit has issues, something is wrong. Again, sorry for the rant.
  9. Being a "new" guy here but not on other forums, I didn't know that you had to "belong" to any group just to respond to a post. My error. So a few days ago, I posted to a comment by another poster about this issue and told him about a solution that is working for me. Not being computer savvy in any way most of the time I get these messages about "sync-eu.exe.bid was when I was opening my e-mail up. Long story short, I have add block plus and I just unchecked the box "Allow some non-intrusive advertising" and my issue with sync has never came back up again. Now I don't think that this is a fix maybe just a Band-Aid, but it works until maybe a fix comes up.
  10. After looking on the web about this, it seems that this is a form of advertising either by way of a cookie or whatever. I'm not the most brilliant computer guy around so I can't explain it very well, but for those who have Add Blocker Plus, if you go into the settings and UNCHECK the "Allow some non-intrusive advertising" box, you could eliminate the issue, or at least it has worked for me for about a day or so. Don't know what triggers it to pop up though.
  11. I for one will NOT be going with MB3 for the reasons I see here on this forum until things are worked out. I too am in favor of keeping support AM2 until the staff feels confident that issues are solved. I did not subscribe to be a beta tester. I realize that there are issues from time to time, but offer support to your loyal base who choose not to install until problems are sorted out.
  12. This is one reason why I won't update to the newer version until everything gets sorted out. Most of the people on here know what's behind their computers, me, I'm just a guy who really is not that savvy around the computer and rely on programs that have been tested and are not full of bugs. I know that there are variables regarding bugs, but looking at the posts here, I really can't believe that there doesn't seem to be an urgent concern about making this right and for the most part bug free. I know that they must be trying and working on it, but I would rather see small micro improvements in the program through updates rather than one big update that is full of bugs and you proclaim that you have a totally new version and really make people question is their system is really protected and to what extent just because of these issues. Marketing should never be placed before development.
  13. Thanks for the reply, I think I'll just wait until it updates automatically.
  14. New first poster here. I just found out that there is a 3.0 version out however my account is still showing 2.2.1.1043. I did a manual update and it shows that I have the latest version out. I am running Malware Bytes Premium. So my question is this a beta or am I not updating for a reason?
